Interstate guest DJ at ‘Tango Noir’ - Friday 3rd Dec.

This week at our Milonga on the 2nd of December we will have a special interstate guest DJ at the ‘Tango Noir’ milonga

Our special guest DJ is Ms Patricia(Pat) Petronio from Tango Salon Adelaide.

Pats Background:

When Robert Youngson & Patricia Petronio from Tango Salon in Adelaide named their milonga ‘Comme Il Faut’ just 4 years ago, it was very much a case of their belief in “how a milonga should be”.

The literal translation from the French is “How Things Are Done,” but according to Pat, that doesn’t begin to describe it.

” It’s about manners, keeping your cool under provocation.
It’s that very rare quality in today’s self-promoting, blame-shifting, tell-all society….
……a quality known as class”.

From many visits to Buenos Aires Pat and Robert have come to embrace the style of milonga that they believe to be typical of the ‘Mecca of tango’.

One guiding influence has been the DJ culture of Buenos Aires. Pat’s music is largely the best of the Golden Age, with playlists influenced by the likes of Carlos Rey, Mario Orlando, and Dany Borelli.
